Discontinued sports from the summer Olympic program include:
- Baseball
- Cricket
- Croquet
- Lacrosse
- Polo
- Rackets
- Roque (a form of croquet played on a hard surface)
- Tug of war
- Softball
It’s worth mentioning that the Olympic program is reviewed every four years by the International Olympic Committee and they can decide to add or remove sports from the program, depending on the popularity, development, and cost of the sport.
